Crusader Kings 3 is getting its own version of the A Game of Thrones mod, creator foxwillow has announced. UPDATED: JanuChanges to the duchy of The Crossing detailed. Hopefully the structure of CK3 will make it easier to do the kind of things they were going for.
I hope they make it play better as a game the next time around. I thought the CK2 mod was fun to geek out with all the ASoIaF lore that was put in to it but I never really enjoyed actually playing it. I have really wanted a Thrones game like that. It would be so smart for them to just license the rights to Paradox because of how popular the mod was. I'm hoping that an official ASOIAF game expansion/standalone game comes out for CK3. Multiple good major overhaul mods out for it as well, if you're a fan of Warcraft I'd recommend the. As others have said ck2 is free now so you have nothing to lose, would recommend playing ck2 first anyway even if there were overhauls out for ck3 just because it'd be a shame to miss out on the game. At the moment though if it's asoiaf you're interested in there is no option for ck3, only ck2. My attempt at Eddard and Catelyn Stark from the show.
